Jeffrey Mordaunt is a Managing Director in the Dispute Consulting group. He has over 23 years of extensive experience providing a broad range of business and financial advice to trial lawyers and in-house counsel throughout the dispute process, including matters involving breach of contract, transaction/post-M&A disputes, theft of trade secrets/breach of restrictive covenants, fraud and forensic investigations, intellectual property infringement, defamation, product recalls (food/beverage and other industries), and other types of litigious matters.

Jeff leads the transaction/post-M&A dispute practice of Stout, focusing on working capital, earnout, and material adverse change disputes subsequent to the close of a transaction. He also has extensive experience involving alleged breaches of representations and warranties and related insurance claims. Jeff will serve as a consultant or expert in these disputes, and also frequently serves as a neutral to resolve working capital and earnout disputes.

Jeff's experience encompasses a wide array of industries. These include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, distribution, professional service companies, technology, real estate, governmental and environmental. He has testified in numerous venues, including state and federal courts (bench and jury trials), AAA, JAMS and private and international arbitration. Jeff will also serve in an independent capacity decide certain claims, such as an umpire role in business interruption matters, and has served as a monitor.  Last, he also assists parties in mediation and settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Stout, Jeff was a Senior Manager in the Dispute Consulting and Forensic Investigations practice of Deloitte in Ohio and Michigan. Prior to Deloitte, he was employed by Price Waterhouse in a similar capacity, and also worked at MediMetrix Group, Inc.
